The One-Punch Man Series Its Third Season Is Set to Continue (In 2027)
Truly the most shocking revelation, the widely-criticized controversial season that was season 3 of One-Punch Man wasn't enough to stop more episodes. Season 3 will be back with a follow-up batch of episodes in 2027—a date so remote they easily could have labeled it season 4. Even more shocking, animation studio J.C. Staff will still be at the helm. Thankfully this time, director Shinpei Nagai is set to direct from the beginning, which could be taken as a positive development. Yet, the key visual for the second cour is a mirror of the one used for season 3, just with characters Saitama and Garou looking opposite ways. This suggests that, nowadays, they could be trolling the fans.
Ruri Dragon Will Be the Premiere Shonen Jump Anime By Kyoto Animation
Kyoto Animation has established a standing for being an top-tier animation studio, distinguishing itself not just for the superb artistry of its productions but for the good working conditions of its employees—a uncommon practice in the industry. Surprisingly, until now, it had not adapted an anime stemming from a manga serialized in Shonen Jump, possibly the most iconic magazine in the business. Ruri Dragon will break that tradition, and what a superb choice it is. The manga by Masaoki Shindo achieved a huge following when it first appeared in 2022 after just a handful of installments, but then went into a lengthy break due to the creator's health issues. When it returned with a lighter schedule, the series showed it hadn't lost the fans' support and enthusiasm, and now everyone is overjoyed about the impending KyoAni adaptation.
Kingdom Its Sixth Season Will Get a Sequel In Production
Kingdom is the top-selling, epic Shueisha manga that is other than One Piece. If you've never heard of it before, it's because it only fairly recently obtained an English localization, but the anime has been airing for some time, and season 6 was another excellent entry. As it happens that was just the initial batch, because a "sequel" has been announced as currently being made, and it will almost certainly debut in 2026.

A further studio famous for the superior craftsmanship of its projects, Science Saru has delivered masterpieces of the quality of Space Dandy, Devilman Crybaby, and, lastly, Dandadan. This time, the studio will be taking on the adaptation of Tomato Soup's manga A Witch's Life in Mongol, based on the actual historical person of Fatima, an powerful woman and scholar in the Mongol Empire in the 13th century. Judging from the trailer, the anime called Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia will have a truly original and captivating visual style, which evokes Ranking of Kings. Set to premiere in July 2026, this one will absolutely be on my must-watch list.
