The First Game Pass Titles of 2026 Show Xbox Remains Committed.

Across the gaming landscape, commentators persist in tolling the death bells for the green team. Xbox was recently outsold by a lesser-known competitor. Xbox fan sites have started writing regarding Sony's platform for the first time. The past year represented an era of significant turmoil for the tech giant's gaming arm. However, judging purely by the titles headed to the service in 2026, it becomes clear that Xbox remains determined to draw people in with quality releases on its premier subscription.

The Available Now Titles

The two games that are immediately available at this moment, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, are not the headliners. Instead, the excitement lies in what's arriving to Game Pass soon that's truly noteworthy.

Upcoming Headline Games

On Jan. 13, the subscription service will add the underrated Star Wars Outlaws, a sprawling adventure that breaks up conventional open-world tropes with an intergalactic heist adventure. A further major acquisition is Resident Evil Village and its giant Lady Dimitrescu, hailed in past assessments as "an ideal blend of frights and fights."

Compelling Indie Titles

However, the more modest titles arriving shortly on the service are quite compelling. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, the criminally overlooked roguelike that's a blast to play, drops on Jan. 7th — and you should try it regardless of whether you played the first Lost in Random game.

This UK-developed survival title from last year may draw you in remarkably quickly.

Atomfall, a survival title with stealth elements by the makers of Sniper Elite, is another one to watch. Those with the top-tier subscription also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to anticipate.

A Solid, Curated Lineup

All in all, these titles aren't industry-shaking releases to Game Pass, and they are also not first-party juggernauts that justify the service in the first place. However, this batch of games are very dependable. There's a good mixture of old games you might have missed and relatively recent releases that lacked the recognition they deserved the first time around — rendering them ideal prospects to find a new audience on Game Pass.

You might need to brace yourself to bid farewell to The Grinch Christmas Adventures, however.
